discipleship group

Discipleship Groups (D-Groups) are small, gender-specific groups of 4-6 believers who meet weekly for intentional spiritual growth and accountability. Through Bible reading, Scripture memory, prayer, and meaningful discussion, D-Groups help believers grow deeper in their relationship with Christ and become disciples who make disciples.

what happens in a d-Group?

D-Groups meet weekly and are designed to help believers grow in their relationship with Christ through Scripture, accountability, and prayer. Each meeting typically includes: Open with prayer.
  • Prayer – Opening and closing your time together in prayer.
  • Connection – Sharing the highs and lows of the week, celebrating victories, and encouraging one another.
  • Scripture Memory – Quoting and discussing memory verses.
  • Bible Discussion – Sharing insights from your daily Bible reading and HEAR  journals (Highlight, Explain, Apply, Respond).
  • Application – Discussing how God’s Word is impacting your life and identifying practical steps of obedience.
  • Accountability – Encouraging one another to follow Christ faithfully in an atmosphere of grace and truth.

Throughout the year, D-Group members read through Scripture together using the Foundations F260 Reading Plan and engage in meaningful discussions centered on spiritual growth and life transformation. Most material can be found online for free, but some studies require physical book purchases.

Important Note*

D-Groups are closed groups that meet for one year. This commitment helps foster trust, accountability, and deeper spiritual growth among group members.
