I grew up in Cleveland, OH, attended and graduated from Welch College in Nashville, TN with a BA in Missions and Theology and moved to VA in 1994. I have over 24 years of experience working with young people; as a second-grade teacher, tutor, youth worker, and a private childcare provider. I have been a lead teacher at CPA since 2023. I am a faithful member of CrossPointe Church where I serve on the Nursery and CP KIDZ Teams. My husband, Dale, and I have been married for 26 years and have three children, one son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and grandson. I love to read, travel, and spend time with my family. My favorite bible verse is Philippians 1:20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness as always so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life or by death.

Hello! I am currently working towards my degree in Elementary Education. My passion is teaching! I have been working at CPA since 2020 and have attended CrossPointe Church since it launched in 2008. I serve on the Nursery, CP KIDZ, and AWANA Teams there. I enjoy going to the gym, playing softball, and going to the beach.

Hi! I am Ms. Perri, the 2-3 year old teacher! I currently live in Suffolk with my husband Jacob, our 2 dogs Indie and Rhett, and our 10 ducks. I grew up in VA, but the military had us moving around for the past couple of years. After living it up in Alaska and Guam we finally found our way back to VA. I graduated from Purdue University with a BS in nutrition, however God had other plans for me to teach these wonderful kids. God lead us the CrossPointe Church where Pastor David told me about the job. At CrossPointe I serve on the First Impressions Team attending for almost a year! My favorite hobbies include arts and crafts, gardening, exercising/hiking, and spending time with my loved ones. My favorite verse is: He will turn again, He will have a compassion upon us; He will subdue our inequities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depth of the sea. Micah 7:19

Hi! I am currently attending TCC to become an elementary school teacher. I've been working at CPA since 2021. I serve on the Nursery and Cafe Teams at CrossPointe Church. I love shopping, crafting, and worshipping. My life verse is Psalms 57:2 I cry out to God most high to God who fulfills His purpose for me. I truly believe everyone has a purpose on this Earth, and we can help each child get to know theirs!

I am the youngest of four children, so caring for and being around young children at CPA is a dream come true while working towards a career. I love to cook for my family and want to own my own restaurant when I grow older. To bring smiles to people's faces with good food is an amazing feeling!

Some of my favorite things to do are swimming at the beach, shopping with my sister, and spending time with loved ones. I'm currently in the process of working as an EMT and eventually gaining my paramedic license. I have been working as a teacher at CPA since 2021 and I have been attending CrossPointe Church since 2014 where I serve on the Praise Team as the bassist. My favorite bible verse is Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes; first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Hello! Having started as an Assistant teacher in 2020, I was appointed as director in 2023. Prior to CPA I worked in the Isle of Wight school system for 6 years. I have been a faithful member of CrossPointe Church since 2011. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 35 years and we share 3 children and two grandchildren. I have a great passion for working with children and watching them learn and grow in Christ. My life verse is Isaiah 11: 6 and a little child shall lead them. 

I have attended CrossPointe Church since 2016 and have been the Administrative/Business Assistant for CrossPointe Preschool since its inception in 2017. I have been married to my husband, Paul, for 29 years and we have a daughter and son, both of whom have worked at the preschool and currently serve in the church. I have the pleasure of serving the Lord through many ministries in the church and the school. I enjoy serving on the praise team, in the nursery and assisting my husband on the media team. While I once worked at the preschool daily, I now work remotely from home, and I miss seeing the children every day. A smile or hug from a child goes a long way when you are having a rough day, and it is wonderful to watch them grow and learn.
